Offline server (2018-2019) Phase I

With limited resources and insufficient infrastructure most of the schools in remote location face acute problem of providing quality education. The low availability of funds also makes it impossible for these remote schools to bring in the best of Digital tools for it's classroom.

Barefoot college has devised a solution for this problem with the use of offline servers in these schools. Use of iPad and a Raspberry PI with relevant apps based on basic numeracy, concept building, imparts logical skills. It has a two-way approach with self-paced learning module for students as well as teaching material for teachers using iPad, Apple TV, solar projector, solar panels, and batteries. These offline servers are portable,solar-powered devices loaded with educational content data ranging from maths, science, GK, to language which can run 24/7 all day long.

(Eg: Offline Wikipedia, videos, and audio) stored in a pen drive. Each server can be connected up to multiple user systems.
